The DIY TRS Audio Cable Kit contains all the pieces you need to assemble your own TRS audio cable. Why in heck would you want to assemble your own cable? Cuz, it’s fun! And it’s cheaper.
All DIY TRS Audio Cable Kits include:
- Shielded mic/line audio cable (2 insulated cores with braided copper shielding), cut to length
- Two (2) connectors of your choice
- Cord
- Heatshrink
Pick whatever cord color you want! You can also add double-sleeving material and solder if you prefer (additional costs apply).
Please note: These kits come unassembled and you’ll need your own soldering iron and heat source for the heatshrink (a hair dryer or lighter would do the trick) to complete the cable. And if you didn’t add solder to your DIY AUX Cable Kit order, you’ll need to supply your own solder. These are not “No Solder” kits. They are “Solder” kits. You will need solder. And if you burn yourself, that’s on you.
There are no refunds available for DIY Kits.
Additionally, in the event that the mis-assembly of a DIY cable causes damage to any device or PC it is plugged into, Zap will not be held responsible. If you are unclear about assembly or have any questions about the DIY Kit, feel free to shoot us an email first or ask around in our Discord.
